Privacy Policy
Overview
Seekhana Songs helps children and families create educational songs. This policy describes what information the app processes when you use it.
The app is intended for use by parents, guardians, and educators with children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate parental involvement.
Information we process
Device account: each install gets a random device identifier used as your account key (no email or password). Your lyric library and boombox metadata sync to our servers when the app can reach the API. Generated audio stays on your device unless you export it.
On our server: your device account ID, saved song library (lyrics and metadata), credit balance, and basic account records. Mixtape playlists are stored on your device only.
AI processing: when you create or translate lyrics, or generate audio (Make Song), the text you submit (topics, lyrics, performance notes, genre, and related choices) is sent to our API and forwarded to AI providers (Anthropic Claude for lyrics; Google Vertex Lyria for audio) only to fulfill that request.
Technical logs: our servers may temporarily log request metadata (and sometimes request content) for reliability and abuse prevention.
How we use information
To generate educational lyrics and audio for your requests.
To enforce the Seekhana Songs content policy (age-appropriate, no banned topics).
To sync your saved library, manage credits for Lyria audio generation, and delete your server-side account when you tap Delete Account.
Third-party services
Lyrics may be generated using Anthropic Claude. Audio may be generated using Google Cloud Vertex AI (Lyria). These providers process the text you submit only to fulfill your request.
Our backend runs on Google Cloud. We do not sell your data or use it for behavioral advertising.
If enabled in your build, Google Firebase Analytics may receive basic app interaction events (for example, app open). We do not use data for cross-app tracking.
Purchases
Make Song uses credits. Version 1.0 does not collect payment or purchase history — starter credits are granted per device account.
When in-app credit purchases are offered, they will use Apple App Store or Google Play billing. We receive purchase confirmation from the platform, not your payment card details.
Storage and retention
Your saved lyrics and boombox metadata remain linked to your device account until you delete them or delete your account. Audio files remain on your device.
On our server we retain your saved library, credit balance, and related account records until you delete your account.
When you delete your account in Settings, we remove your server-side account data, including your saved library and credits, and clear cached lyrics, boombox tracks, and audio on the device.
App Store and Google Play privacy labels
Our store privacy disclosures describe: device identifiers (account), user-generated lyrics and song metadata, optional product analytics, and AI processing as described above.
We do not use your data for cross-app tracking or advertising. Purchase history is not collected until in-app purchases are released.
Your choices
You can delete lyrics and tracks individually or delete your entire account in Settings.

Updates
